Chocolate Banana Chia Protein “Bread” ?

So this bread was definitely moist, sweet, delicious, and nutritious. (lol, that’s probably my favorite thing to say…”nutritious and delicious”)

Anyway, it was pretty quick actually, so here’s what you will need:

1/2 cup Old Fashioned Oats

1/2 cup chocolate whey protein powder

3 tbls coconut flour

8-10 drops of Toffee Stevia liquid drops, or you can use regular stevia drops, or 1/2 – 1 regular packet :p

1 tsp baking powder

2 ripe bananas

2 tsp Chia Seeds

Now unfortunately, I did forget my egg whites…so that’s probably why it was a bit hard to mix and didn’t rise as much…hmm…yeah, probably. So you may add that if you wish, but even though I didn’t use it, the recipe doesn’t technically NEED it. Your bread will survive without it ;p

Directions:

1. Mash the bananas with a fork.

2. In a blender (I use my mom’s magic bullet) blend all the ingredients together.

3. Lay your batter in a greased bread loaf pan.

4. Bake on 350 degrees for 20-23 minutes. As always, a toothpick will come out clean. 🙂

I really enjoy this bread because it’s perfect as a dessert, breakfast, or pre workout snack! It tastes even better when you spread almond butter, peanut butter, or some greek yogurt on top with cinnamon! You can experiment with different toppings…most likely it will come out YUMMY! 🙂

As a dessert, it tastes DIVINE while it’s still hot (or you can just reheat it in a microwave) with cookie and cream or peanut butter Arctic Zero ice cream.

NOMMY NOMMY IN MY TUMMY.

Enjoy & let me know what you think!
